From intimate jazz venues across NYC to large-scale performances, including AMC's The Vampire Lestat premiere at the Beacon Theatre, Nelly brings a versatile and expressive approach to the bass. Drawing from a wide-ranging musical background in jazz, funk, R&B, classical, and beyond, she moves seamlessly between styles while bringing groove, musicality, and character to every performance.







Working with artists and producers in NYC and around the world, Nelly has recorded bass on a wide variety of projects across multiple genres. Her work includes both in-studio and remote sessions, in which she creates bass parts that serve the music, shaping the feel and direction of each track.

With over 6 years of experience teaching piano and bass, Nelly has worked with students of different ages, experience levels, & learning styles. As an instructor, she takes an adaptable, student-centered approach, tailoring lessons to each student's goals & background. Her background in both formal music education and independent study across multiple instruments gives her firsthand insight into effective approaches to developing as a musician.
